This is a pink rhinestone cat pin with green rhinestone eyes, and pink bar rhinestones on it's tail and one on the collar. It's in excellent vintage condition, marked "Pell", and measure 1 3/4 inches tall and 1 inch wide. Decorations from this manufacturer are rare, but always represent a true masterpiece of jewelry. And this brooch is no exception! Created by the four brothers Joseph, Anthony, Alfred and William Gaita in 1941, the Pell company began producing a wide range of jewelry, mostly silver plated. Long Island City, NY based Pell Jewelry Co. designed jewelry for Disney Productions and the Miss America competition. Also, the company participated in the production of Coro jewelry. Since 1955, a copyright label has appeared on the Pell jewelry label.It's an authentic one of a kind. Flaws will be noted, but please ask any questions you may have.
